Counselling in Adelaide, with a clear place to start

Hi, I'm Carly. I started Thrive because I wanted counselling that feels human, warm, down to earth and genuinely on your side.

Before I trained as a counsellor I spent years as a registered nurse, working with both adults and kids. It taught me the importance of listening carefully, looking at the whole person and helping people feel safe, understood and supported.

These days my heart is in relationship and couples work. If things with your partner have felt stuck, tense or distant, I can help you find your way back to each other. I've done extra study in this area, including in The Gottman Method, so we work with real tools, not just talk.

I also support families and NDIS participants, bringing together counselling, my health background, and an understanding of disability and funded care.

Everything I do comes from a trauma-informed and neuro-affirming place. We go at your pace, we work with how your brain and body actually function, and there's no judgement in this room, ever.

Most of my couples and relationship sessions are held at Marion. For individual adult counselling at Christies Beach or online, Sharon is the clearest place to start.
